The quickest way to a man's heart...

Who doesn't love chocolate?! Okay...there are some oddballs that can walk past Godiva at the mall without giving it a second thought but most of us at least glance and have a brief fantasy of going in and buying one of everything!

My husband is no exception. Anything related to chocolate is always a hit at our house. So when I made this dessert for the first time I wasn't surprised that it became an instant favorite. When Father's Day or Daddy's birthday rolls around, this easy brownie pizza is usually requested. And I can't think of a better way to honor him (and it doesn't hurt that we all get to enjoy it!)

Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix, family size for 9x13 pan
Oil, eggs and water (or whatever your brownie mix calls for)
Frosting and toppings

Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the box.
and
Spread the brownie batter in a greased or sprayed 15 inch pizza pan.

Bake about 20 minutes. It usually takes the minimum amount of time listed on the box. Keep a close eye on it!

Once it's nice and cool, spread the frosting.

Mmmm....dark chocolate! Yes...I used the entire, 16 oz container. It seems like a lot but there's a lot of surface area to cover so it spreads thin.

And if you're house is like mine you'll find this....

Once it's frosted, I use another flavor frosting to drizzle over the pizza.

I scooped a heaping spoonful into a bowl and microwaved it for about 20 seconds to thin it out. I then poured it into a ziploc bag, snipped a teeny tip off of the corner and drizzled.

I topped the drizzle with mini M&M's and toffee bits. And here it is....

The man of the hour gets to enjoy a slice. Lounging on the couch, watching basketball and eating brownie pizza....what a life!

Happy Fathers Day!

Brownie Pizza Recipe

1 (19.95 oz) box fudge brownie mix (I recommended Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge)
1 (16 oz) container chocolate frosting
1/4 cup cream cheese flavor frosting
candy toppings

Preheat oven to 350.

Grease a 15-inch pizza pan. Prepare the brownie mix according to box directions. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until done. Remove from the oven and cool.

Once cool, spread chocolate frosting over entire brownie.

In microwaveable bowl, heat cream cheese frosting for 20 seconds or until soft. Put frosting into a ziploc bag, release air and seal. Snip a small piece of the corner and drizzle frosting onto the chocolate frosting.

Sprinkle with candy toppings.

Serve with ice cream and have a darn good time!
